Ideation Jam
November 10 & 12
Abbotsford Campus
After a successful pilot in November 2024, the UFV Centre for Experiential and Career Education is bringing back the Community Ideation Jam for National Career Month in November 2025! This collaborative and inclusive environment aims to generate innovative ideas and actionable plans with a diverse group of participants.
The Community Ideation Jam is now a 48-hour long jam for this Fall Reading Break!
This year’s Community Ideation Jam theme is Changemaking with AI and we are excited to be partnering with UFV alumnus, Tristan Taylor, the founder of the Canadian Artificial Intelligence Advancement Institute (CAIAI). To support students in developing their ideation, we’ve lined up guest speakers and a workshop focused on artificial intelligence. These sessions are designed to give you fresh perspectives spark creativity, and offer practical tools you can apply as you shape your project.
To all attendees interested in participating, no AI knowledge required!
Note: No drop-ins on the day of event. Students must register to participate and must be committed to the dates. Accepted students (or teams) will receive a confirmation email on the last week of October.
