Robert Osborne (UT ’78) publishes second book “Malcolm is Missing”
A Canadian man’s mysterious disappearance in Mexico.
His daughter’s quest for justice.
Malcom Is Missing, the latest book by investigative journalist Robert Osborne, tells the story of a single mother of two from small-town Ontario who looks for her missing father and ends up taking on one of the most corrupt justice systems in the world.
In October 2018, Canadian snowbird Malcom Madsen vanished while in Mexico, and his daughter Brooke Mullins embarked on a quest to find him. Armed with damning evidence that points to foul play, Brooke turned to Mexican authorities, searching for answers. Mexican police show little interest in the case, but Brooke persists, propelled by twin objectives: to recover her father’s remains and to ensure justice for his perpetrators.
