Thousands graduate and become new UFV alumni
UFV Alumni Association offers ways to stay connected and engaged
ABBOTSFORD – More than 2,100 new graduates crossed the stage on June 11 and 12 at the University of the Fraser Valley’s Convocation ceremonies, held at Abbotsford Centre.
“It is my pleasure on behalf of the UFV Alumni Association board of directors to congratulate you on your special day, and to be the first to officially welcome you to the association. It’s an exciting time and we are all incredibly proud of you. You’ve done it!” said Justin P. Goodrich, chair of the UFV Alumni Association.
“Graduation is a time of reflecting on the journey you’ve been on, and what you’ve accomplished. But of course it’s a time to also look ahead and ask what’s next. I’d encourage you to consider this, that UFV can be part of your ‘what’s next’.”
Goodrich said the UFV Alumni Association has worked hard to build value for UFV alumni to stay connected through the association, including events such as a speaker series leading up to the UFVAA’s TedX in 2018, the free UFVAA hub on 10,000 Coffees, a professional networking website, and more.
