Our UFV alumni go on to do incredible work at home and around the world. Here are various lists of some of our notable alumni.
All persons who at any time, and for any length of time, have served as Chair of the UFV Alumni Association Board of Directors will be given the title “Chair Emeritus” upon completing their service.
The UFV Distinguished and Young Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize the accomplishments of our amazing alumni. These awards are conferred upon graduates of the institution who have achieved outstanding distinction in career, educational achievement, or community service.
Honorary doctorates are awarded to individuals recognized for distinguished and visionary leadership and achievements consistent with UFV’s core values, mission, and goals. They exemplify the highest personal and professional standards that serve as an inspiration and model for students, faculty, staff, and our communities.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary in 2014, the University of the Fraser Valley and the UFV Alumni Association named UFV’s Top 40 Alumni. Representatives from the UFV Alumni Association and the university selected the Top 40 based on a set of criteria that included community contributions, commitment to others, career/professional excellence, leadership, creativity/innovation, and acting with selflessness or courage.
